Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar impresses golf ace Tiger Woods

Whoever meets this cricket god can't stop raving about him. Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar, who is often talked in the same breath as German car race icon Michael Schumacher, golf ace Tiger Woods and basketball hero Michael Jordon, has, it seems, a special ability to floor the legends he is ranked with.

So, after Schumi whom he first met years ago, it is golf ace Tiger Woods who has been impressed by the cricket genius after the two greats caught up in the Capital on Tuesday.
After meeting Tendulkar and his family in New Delhi, Woods has written on Twitter that the batting genius was a "cool" guy. According to PTI, Woods met Tendulkar and his family on his arrival at a five-star hotel in New Delhi.

While Woods is in town to take part in an exhibition match at a private event at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC), Tendulkar is in the Capital to receive Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian honour.
Tendulkar, who retired from all forms of cricket in November last year, has been a keen follower of golf.

Schumacher and Sachin have met several times in Italy and India, but their association began in 2002 when the German presented a Ferrari to Tendulkar after he equalled Don Bradman's record of 29 Test hundreds.On Tendulkar's swansong series, the Formula 1 legend had said that retirement is something the cricketing icon can look forward to.
They were last seen together at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix in 2011.
